 Shirley Derksen:
I am from
holland and i started climbing 11 years ago. I started climbing
indoor and slowly started looking for rocks which is why i
started traveling to countries like South Africa, India and of
course europe and finally ended up living in Turkey where the
climbing is wonderful.
I regularly compete in competitions in turkey. Climbing is a
really my biggest passion.In holland i finished sports academy
specialised in outdoor sports. I have worked in America, Turkey,
Belgium and Austria as an outdoor instructor where i did sports
like canouing, hiking, team building games, climbing, skiing and
snowboarding etc.
 Sinan Demirtaş: Learnt climbing
in Olympos 8 years ago. Things have developed quickly for him. He
is one of the best climbers in Turkey, and has been setting up
new routes throughout the country. His is one of the people
who’s dedication to the development of sport climbing in Turkey
has made a difference. He is a sport climbing trainer and
Competition Judge for the Turkish Mountaineering Federation.

Volkan Özkan:
Started climbing six years ago in
universty Mountaineering club. 4 years he has been a coach
abaut sport climbing and Mountaineering in the same club. last
year he started setting up new routes. He is a sport climbing
trainer of the Turkish Mountaineering Federationan. Climbing is
a passion for volkan
Deniz Erdoğmuş: Started
climbing 5 years ago at university club and he has been a coach
about sport climbing and mountaineering for 4 years at the
university club .He is a sport climbing trainer for the Turkish
Mountaineering Federation.He as worked as a coach at some of the
climbing walls in the hotels.
Engin Türker: Discovered climbing in
his home town Kemer at the age of 15. Learnt climbing the “hard
way” on saxon routes set up by eastern german climbers in
Karataşlar. He is still the only Turkish climber to have climbed
all the routes there. Engin lives for climbing. On his days off he
does diving, mountain biking and trains for climbing. Engin is
also a successful National competition climber.
